  1. I have a Christmas cactus plant and love it. The only problem I have is that when it does bloom, it only blooms 1 – 3 blooms. I’m not sure what I am doing wrong – can you help?

  2. My “Christmas” cactus (her name is Margaret) is about 15 years old and massive. She’s so huge she has to live up on a plant stand and is about 3 feet wide. She has loads of orchid pink blossoms that start around Thanksgiving and finish up around Easter.

Margaret lives in a bright southern window. Other than that, she thrives on neglect. I water her maybe every two weeks. No regular schedule. If the new leaves at the tips are looking wrinkled and scrawny, I water her (but not heavily). I do turn her every few weeks. I think the tips facing the sun are the ones that bloom best, so turning keeps her blooming all over.
